This heart centered foundation believes that “no child should have to go without” the essentials, or childhood memories such as enjoying ice cream on a hot summer day. Having such a deep connection to the community is the driving force behind this foundation. 2 Scoops for Kids Foundation takes donations all year, to help fund our 3 annual events. Easter in the spring, a backpack drive in the fall and a Christmas toy-drive in the winter! We also will keep providing treats to the little ones on those hot summer days. We are ever expanding on how we can meet the needs of children in our community. Thank you for your continued support. 2 Scoops for Kids Foundation originally started as a small donation-based fund, that was used to provide ice cream cones to children in the community, who otherwise, could not afford to enjoy this treat. In late 2022 the owners of 2 Scoops Ice Cream Eatery decided to expand their vision on giving back to the children of their community. The Whites have been long-term. residents of the Rondo Community. Mrs. White has owned a daycare in this community for over 30 years, so this family understands first-hand what the children of the community needs.
